Brad Marchand, despite his talent deficiency and Napoleon complex, is a good hockey player – that much I’ll admit. But Marchand is also a weasily little punk, the type of hockey player that everyone hates – unless they’re on your team, I’m told.
To that I say bullshit. Boston fans need to get over the fact Marchand plays for the Bruins, and recognize him for what he is – the Ndamukong Suh of the NHL without half of the talent that Suh possesses.
Last night Marchand found himself suddenly in s skirmish the Toronto’s Tim Connolly. While it wasn’t much of a fight, Marchand did get body slammed with surprising ease. Here’s the video for the enjoyment of all of those who recognize Marchand as the little snit he is.

I can easily understand why opponents dislike Marchand, but he was key to the B’s winning the Cup last year. In the finals he was good on offense and took Daniel Sedin off his game. NHL has long history of instigators. He’s small and not much of a fighter. The mystery is why he isn’t beaten to a pulp more often. Here’s a good one from the Stanley Cup last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxiMOy9AlcE
No doubt he helped the Bruins win last year, but I despise him regardless. Just cause you win doesn’t mean you can be a punk.
See Garnett, Kevin
I think it’s the other way around. Having Marchand be a punk helps the Bruins win.
Chris — Marchand’s not beaten to a pulp because he runs and hides behind your unfrozen caveman defenseman or Shawn “The Professor” Thornton. It was nice to see the little rat dropped by the biggest p*ssy in the history of the NHL, however.
Thank you John from Mehford!
