Tech geeks unite! Google’s first laptop — the Cr-48 Chrome is scheduled for release in mid-2011. While howiGit doesn’t tend to write about technology, he does work with a bunch of techies and this is something vastly different. It’s the first laptop to run on a browser-based operating system — Google Chrome — which will enable it to boot in 10 seconds and be super stable.

It looks and probably acts a lot like a mac so Jobs probably just does not care since Apple has its own small little niche carved out in the market as it is. I don’t think he will be losing any sleep over this sort of thing.
