The Red Sox and the Yankees will tango at Fenway for a final time this season, as a 3-game series between the two clubs begins tonight. While the Sox have already won the season series, this particular series is still vitally important as the Yankees sit only 1.5 games behind the Sox in the AL East standings. With the final series between the two clubs set for September 23-25 at Yankee Stadium, this series certainly is important in terms of momentum between the two rivals.
John Lackey (12-9, 5.98ERA) faces off against CC Sabathia (17-7, 2.99ERA) tonight, with Beckett vs. Hughes and Lester vs. Burnett to follow. While Beckett has been the best pitcher for the Sox this season, historically Lester has been by far the most successful against the Yanks.

that does make sense, they also both scored the same amount of runs at 8. I would take the rbi/home run over the hits as Swish was responisble for more runs.

If they are tied we make a bet that every day a team is up a game or games you owe the person a dollar per game they are up.
So lets say the first day the yankees win and the sox lose, you owe me a dollar because the yankees are up a game, the next day they both win you owe me a dollar because the yankees are up 1 game still, the third day the yankees win again sox lose you owe me two dollars for that day because they are up two games.
It could end up being like 10 bucks, it could wind up being at the end like 5 dollars a day if either runs away adding up to some halfway decent money.
for the second game it would be another dollar. So lets say the yankees are up 1 game for the whole week it would be 7 dollars total.
