I may never get over the fact that I’m not Josh Beckett, perched atop the mound at Fenway mowing down more Yankees than King George III in front of thousands of adoring fans. While my mind remains willing, like an old man in a brothel, sometimes the body just ain’t. As they say, when life gives you lemons…start a blog? That’s exactly what happened.
So with all the blogs and sports media out there, why the hell should should you continue to read on? Because you don’t care to differentiate between Eli Manning and the gum stuck to the bottom of your shoe. You knew Ray Allen when he was Jesus Shuttlesworth. You think Tom Brady looks sexy no matter what he’s wearing, and you actually like Josh Beckett’s attitude. If any of this rings true, you’ve found your new home.
We’re not NESN, we’re not ESPN, and we’re certainly not as desperate as BarTool Sports (no scantily clad 18-year old coeds here, sorry gents). We are working hard to become one of Boston’s most reliable sporting voices on the web.
